Bottom Line: An NVMe-PCIe SSD is a nice-to-have.
I am having the same issues, it work fine for me the first few times I used etcher to flash Hiveos, burned the img onto a usb and ssd in the past (2-3months ago), removed and reinsert the drive and could see and access the hive files on my windows 10 pc fine. So, click 'Edit', and the Security window immediately pops out.
